In the glass, the 2024 Louise is all radiance and ruby, with a lovely aromatic offering of wild fruits and dried herbs. On the palate, the wine is poised and beautifully balanced between its sweeter notes and an overall sense of restraint. Various touches of cranberry, maraschino cherry, wild strawberry, orange peel, sage, vanilla, and nutmeg unfold pleasingly. The finish is elegant, complex, and lingering, supported as it is by refined, richly integrated tannins.
