2021 Drouhin Oregon Roserock

Maigold Chardonnay

The 2021 Roserock Maigold Chardonnay expresses so much about the vineyard and vintage. Every time I put my nose in the glass, I sense honeysuckle blossoms, bright lemon zest, and lemongrass, along with a host of other fresh fruits and flowers. The palate is round and lovely, with everything the nose promises, as well as sweet, ripe flavors and a hint of nutty pastry dough. The finish is gorgeous. You can hold the wine for several years, but it’s very enjoyable now. Bravo to Mother Nature for the 2021 vintage!
