Italian Dinner – 1 Table Remains!

While the landscape of travel has shifted in 2020, we can still embrace culinary adventure! In that spirit, we’ve created Passeport du Monde, our first-ever weekly culinary series.

After many years of living in Sicily and Rome, there is no one better to take us on a culinary journey to Italy than Chef de Cuisine of Portland’s Mediterranean Exploration Company, Natalie Gullish. Join us for a ‘buon’ evening full of delicious food and unforgettable wines on August 25th!

We hope you enjoy this opportunity to unite with friends and family for a journey around the world with DDO – at DDO. Each event will be limited by design to keep us all safe, and tickets are limited, so we appreciate your understanding if some of your preferred dates and times aren’t available. We’re all adjusting to a new way of doing things.


August 25, 2020 – Italy

Dinner is served on the terrace.The $150 per person ticket price includes dinner with matched wines for $75 and a $75 wine credit to be used on the reservation day for carry out or shipped bottles.

Natalie GullishMediterranean Exploration Company

Natalie attended culinary school at Ballymaloe in County Cork, Ireland. From there, she interned at Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California. She then moved to Portland, where she worked at the Veritable Quandary before moving to Italy. In Italy, she participated in the Rome Sustainable Food Project at the American Academy and then moved to Sicily to work as a private chef in an agritourismo villa. Since moving back to Portland, Oregon, she has worked as a sous chef at Veritable Quandary and Q Restaurant and was the opening Chef de Cuisine of Shalom Y’all Restaurant East. She is currently the Chef de Cuisine of Mediterranean Exploration Company.

  • A $75.00 credit towards the purchase of wine is included in your ticket price. This credit is only valid on the reservation day for carry out or shipped bottles. Not redeemable for cash value.
  • Dinner includes 4 courses with wine pairings curated to highlight the unique flavors from the diverse menu offerings.
  • Credit Cards will be billed at the time of booking.
  • Due to the limited nature of these events, we are unable to issue refunds if your cancellation is received within five days of the event.
  • Maximum of four guests allowed at a table.
  • Masks will be required when you’re not seated at your table.
